Word on the street is that Flavio Carnevale is relocating Popolo to a CBD location, and has turned the previous venue into a Roman inspired affair that goes by the name of Marta Osteria.
In an ode to its departure I thought it apt to share some dishes from my last dining experience there.
It had always been a favourite of mine, and the southern Italian menu I found refreshing amongst the hordes of generic alternatives.
I’m overwhelmed with anticipation of what Carnevale is pushing out at his replacement restaurant, so expect a review very soon.
